Resolutions of Life

 So, been real busy. The security audit i was handling just ended. What also ended along with it was a consecutive 6 weeks of work that included the weekends. Reviewing reports. Submitting it. Get comments and revise it. Submit it. The difficult part is communicating between the security consultant and the vendor team. It was a nightmare playing middle man. ...but i am done. Cancelled my previous leave. Re-applied for the coming week. Let's take a good and actual break this time. Not gonna turn on my work laptop at all~ Let's see how that works out.

 ...i've never been so hardworking during leave or vacation before. Today marks the end of the work week of the first vacation week of two. Yet everyday, i'm having meetings and sending emails late into the night. All to meet some weird timeline that keeps getting dragged to the front. Beginning to wonder again.

It must be due to your birthday or something. For some reason you're back in the head and really deep this time. Did i even let go in the first place?

 Bweh. October already. Birthday month. I really came back to test typing with a new mechanical keyboard. There were a lot of things that happened and a lot of things to share...which makes me reluctant to actually share at all. The closest thing to share actually would be that i became a permanent employee at where i am at. Passed contract period. Others...well, some other time when i feel like it.

 1st post of 2023 and 4 months into the new year already. A quarter done. Employed since last November. It was just that i had gotten COVID a little bit before starting the job. Man, COVID really knocked me out cold...but it has been long enough that i am about to take another vaccination shot. --- I am back to being an engineer. Back to serving the country once more. It is nice in a way i found myself to be in the mental state similar to when i joined my first job - eager to learn. This time i have some years of experience so it is a bit smoother in terms of how i handle stuff. Still, there are challenges to the job scope. Users, systems, teammates and division mates. Eh. I am trying my best to not be dismissive about anything this time. Deep breaths.
