Right from where i ended my previous post. Right.
Despair came.
Maybe i deserve what is coming because i was already planning for my exit but now that there's no actual exit, i couldn't just up and leave. I started to hunt for jobs again.
...and it was actually a little nostalgic to what i felt about 3 years ago when i was jobless and sending resumes here and there. However, this time the response rate is considerably higher than i had back then. Perhaps it is because i am currently in the public sector or just better skills (Compared to back then when i can only claim to be good at data analysis, I am proficient in a sizable domain of IT, data analytics and visualization).
So from May to this point i have been to quite a good number of interviews, from other government sectors to banks, in roles of data analyst to cybersecurity analyst. No good hits yet but i keep trying.
I did decide to try for the teaching application again back in May. It was another 2 months of waiting for that...but i didn't just focus on that this round and decided to side-hunt for jobs.
That was May.

June was the most trying month for me. The main reason is because the key player of the team went on an operation and had 2 months of medical leave. I was the designated cover. So the months when he was absent it was absolutely trying for me which pushed me real hard to just wanting to go.
Eh.
