... "...because it wasn't just new for you guys. I was also here for my first year back then in 2007. It was not just a new environment for you, but also for me as a teacher. Sorry if i make this sound personal, but i just couldn't..." *sniffs...and wipe tears. "...Alright everyone. We have come to the end of this prom tea session. I hope that after this, you will be more motivated to study hard for your 'A' levels and achieve what you can. Don't be afraid of reaching out to your dreams, just like i did." That she was, my GP teacher, making a really heart-felt speech on the stage. It was the end of the prom tea session. The end of our lives in MI...but the battle had barely begun. Mr C was sitting beside me at the same table. Along with Fathi, Haining and Hui Ying. The three of them took off and interact with the others, something normal to do. It was literally the last time for people to have laughs and joke around with the others. Me? Well, i...
Nothing to say, just to share some YouTube videos. I know i've quit playing, and i know it's about a children's trading card game, but i still wanted to see this movie very much! It's quite cool, really. I've heard that it's been released but i'm having trouble looking for it online. Oh well, i might as well wait for the DVD version. To people who wants to laugh at me for being childish, here's a quote: "A man is always mature at the mind and young at heart." --- ...and i've been quite obsessed with Lady Gaga's [Pokerface]. No, i'm serious...at least with this version: This makes me go: "LOL IMBA PWNAGE!" Disclaimer: I did not make this video, or in anyway claim it to be mine. All credits go to LittleKuriboh, the creator of Yugioh: The Abridged Series, and people who uploaded it in YouTube. --- Enjoy the videos! EDIT: Yes, one week left. I'm forkin' nervous. Again am i reminded of what Mr T once said. "It'...
Time for another update. Firstly, i lost my job. Apparently, what happened is the project leader i'm working under is terminated and as a result all 17 of us were terminated. I've nothing much to argue about or anything, since it's already stated in the contract that we can be terminated even without notice. The other thing about the the job is that my pay rate is actually much higher than what i expected. It works like this: I hand in search results based on a keyword, and for every 100 of them i hand in, i earn a dollar. I can do 100 words in half an hour, so that pretty much translates to 2 dollars an hour. Then i found out that it is actually 3 dollars per 100 words. So i actually have 6 dollars an hour. I'm just waiting to collect it next month. --- I think it is pretty much known, but the rumoured 'A' level results release date is next Friday, 5th March. To be honest, i am scared of what i'll get. Sure, i did everything i could last year but the fear i...
Ok, as requested by my friend, i will put my experience in Malaysia in words. It was...14th February 2010 5pm. We set off towards Malaysia, Paloh, the backwater parts of Malaysia. The whole car trip will take 2.5 hours, divided into a 2 hour trip on the expressway, and a half an hour trip around the 'curvy roads of death'. The terror wasn't at the 2 hour part, but what happens between and during the curvy trip. We stopped for a break at Yong Peng after the 2 hours road trip, despite my obvious unwillingness. Why did i object? Because i don't want to enter the curvy path in darkness. Oh well, in order to show how pissed i am, i refuse to eat or drink anything there. It was 7.40pm when we left Yong Peng. It's already night time. It's really dangerous, to my opinion, to drive in the darkness, let alone a really curvy road. Ok, curvy is really subjective, let me put things in perspective. Do you ever feel nausea after a roller coaster ride? It's the same feeling...
So a lot had happened since my last post. I couldn't make it in time but i still need to wish everyone a happy Chinese New Year. I, myself, had a rather hellish time. To start off, went to my Grandmother's House on Sunday morning. This was the more enjoyable part, until the afternoon, when we set off to Malaysia in order to visit my mother's counterparts. Everything that happened there was so grotesquely disgusting and irritating i cannot find the words to put them here. Hence i am afraid to say i can do nothing to fill the blanks in your head right now. Back yesterday and this new year is over. That's that. --- Busy unlocking achievements for Bayonetta...mmm...see you later.
Alright, my 2nd game review. I have finished this a few days ago, but i played through another few times to get a tighter grip on what i want to say Game Review #2: Bayonetta (XBox 360 version) Story: 6/10. Once upon a time, there are two clans of of magic users. The Lumen Sages, controllers of Light, and the Umbran Witches, controllers of darkness. The 2 clans are charged with their treasures - the Eyes of the World. However, as one of the dark bonded with one of the Light, the balance is broken between the 2 clans and they vanished out of history. ...and right at that next moment, you're thrown into 520 years later controlling Bayonetta. The story is creative, yes. Fusing elements from Dante Aliegiri's Divine Comedy with the game is really innovative, even if it is not the first time it's done. However, because of the frequent jumping here and there, time periods and dimensions, things can get a little confusing, especially for the casual gamer. Gameplay: 10/10 Now this i...
Alright dudes, major updates this time. New skin for the first thing. I've always liked the Silent Hill merchandise. Too bad this is about Heather, the heroine of Silent Hill 3, the ONLY ONE that i've never played...that, and Homecoming too. Next, tagboard is up. Anyone and everyone is free to post on it, even if you don't know me, but please observe the basic courtesy you show on the internet. Respect people, no vulgarities as far as possible, if not fully non-existent. You can use it to rate the my most recent post, nice or bad, i'll take your opinions and try to improve myself. Of course, not to mention that it is your means of interacting with me. Finally, links. So far, i've linked to 2 of my friends who have linked to me. Note that i don't link people out of blue without asking them for permission (These 2 are exceptions, i doubt they'll mind), and that i seldom ask people to link me. If you want me to link you, state what you want to be identified as ...
...ah, this place calls out to me like a flower to the bee. Hello people, i'm here for some updates. Starting with Monday. The day of my interview. You know, i'm starting to doubt that i know the definition of the word 'interview', because it seems that everytime my employers ask me to go for an interview, it turns out to be a 'briefing'. I was given information more than i'm giving them. Anyway, went to Vantage Automotives, where their office is located and i got the job. Basically it's home-based and i can just work anytime i want, though the bare minimum is to complete assignments within 30 days they are given. The pay is low, but i like the job. Tedious work but i like it. Parents complained to me, but i like it. The main thing is, i like it. So i'll be sticking with this while looking for another job. --- Right after that interview, at night, i bought a XBox 360 from a person i've contacted on the forums. It's really cheap, so why not? S...
