Well, it has been a month. Hello everyone, i'm back from Hell.
A lot has happened in these past 3 weeks, during my exams. Of course i meant outside of the exams themselves, there's a lot despite the studying, memorizing and revising.
Well, before the exam started, my mother decided to play the biggest trick that i've ever seen.
She placed my cousin (From my mother's side) in the same room as i sleep in. Me on the bed, and him on the floor.
I'm not afraid to voice it out or even show my disagreement, though my mother will just brush it off that it's "not going to cause any inconvenience" to me. Yeah right.
For some reason, he keeps kicking my bloody bed at night, and it has awoken me a hell lot of times. AND he snores with a hissing sound. So his combo goes like, kick my bed and wake me up, then snore to keep me awake. This is one serious problem for me, especially for days when i have paper in the morning, which seriously happened despite my praying that it won't. It's fortunate that i can keep awake and the papers are rather manageable.
Another thing about him is, he doesn't switch off the appliances he stop using. Tons of times i found the fan in my room, or the cellphone charger switched on. What's worse is i got reprimanded by my father when he's the one doing it. Seriously, what the heck is with them being so switch-happy when it's not them paying for the bills? Oh well, enough about him. At the end, i'm just gonna pretend i don't know him (As i do for all of the people on my mother's side. Is it my fault that they live in Malaysia and do rather weird things?).
Alright, so the first week was Maths and General Paper. Maths was alright. Although the paper is tricky, the skills required to solve them isn't really high order, though, i'd bet that getting an A is rather difficult, so i'll settle for a B. General Paper, on the other hand, was rather hard for me (ESPECIALLY for me). I'm just gonna laugh if i even pass, which i must.
What's hardest for me to take, is that my Great-aunt passed away on the very day i start my A' Level exams. I can only find one night when i'm free to attend the wake. For this, i rather am ashamed for myself. Yet there is nothing i can really do about. No worries, i've moved on.
Moving on to the second week, there's only Physics paper 2. The paper was so ridiculously easy i thought i did the wrong paper. Nothing to talk about.
The third week is Physics Paper 3 and Accounting Paper 1. Both are easy and didn't pose much trouble, though, we speculate that since Physics Paper 2 and 3 are easy, we can expect a killer paper 1.
The last week, this week, is Accounting Paper 2 and Physics paper 1. Accounting paper 2 was fine, it wasn't difficult at all, other than the surprise that it didn't really have much business accounting questions (My forte). I had some problems with Physics Paper 1, probably because i exhausted my energy in the morning for Accounting, but i still manage to secure, say, a good 30 marks at least (Out of 40).
...and so my exams ended, along with my life in Millennia Institute. So let's do a review of the school.
Millennia Institute offers O' Level graduates a chance at the A' Level exams in a similar terms as college does. The difference is that the student have 3 years to prepare, as compared to 2 years of what college students have. Many people have never heard of the institute or know little about it. This often led to people mistaking students as college students (Especially since we have rather similar uniform color to other colleges).
Sure, it is not the best choice that people swarm to get, in fact a lot of people think that the students in there are rather hopeless. That was what i think when i first went in. Low passing rates, low promotion requirements, low EVERYTHING. In fact, i thought that our low passing rates is because of our students low qualifications (To enter a college, an O' Level student requires a point of 20 and low for 6 subjects. MI has a low requirement). Well, i wasn't wrong, but not completely correct too. Some people just refused to study, think 3 years is a long time.
Despite have an extra year, we have a longer daily curriculum time compared to the college students, which i thought at first, a serious joke to be laughed at. Yet, after thinking carefully, it was absolutely necessary, because if our students are released earlier, they do not have that self-discipline to do their self-study.
The institute is also very strict on moral values and discipline like Punctuality and Integrity, so much more than studies. I fail to see it once why, but i do now. They really are just trying to emphasize the importance of discipline, for we need it the most to pursue our grades.
As for teachers, i'll say proudly, we have the best teachers for teaching, maybe even compared to other colleges. The teachers who stayed till school closes, meet up with students even in public holidays and as well, come back to school despite it's Saturday just to give us a test and grade our ability (Haha! Mr T!).
I did regret a few times for going into that school, but i'm not the kind to whine and complain. I adapt to the environment and surpass it, so i'm rather glad that i went in the Institute, and i know that i have become a better and more mature person because of that.
Thank you.

That's not the end of this post yet. After my exams, i really have no idea what to do to kill time. My enlistment letter is nowhere near me, and i felt extremely weird when i tried to game, as if i'm still stuck in the momentum of exams and studying, which is good?
I kind of decided i'm going to open a Facebook account just to play games with my friends. It's rather amazing that some web-browser games are cool!
Oh well, i had enough of typing. So i'll end today with a present to all Gackt fans:
Cool song! The title is "Soldier of Sorrow" from the new Gundam vs Gundam game. Enjoy, and i'll see you soon.
