I've been pretty obsessed about a few things recently.

1) I would think that a few people know this already, but i've moved on. This is not difficult to decipher at all so have fun guessing.

Oh yeah, and thanks Astley (My near 6 years card-mate and near best-friends) for his advice on how to court gi..wait, this is giving the answer away...

2) THIS!

I think the characters and song lyrics are just cute. Very cute.

Finished watching Silent Hill: Homecoming playthroughs on youtube. Oh, when i want to play a game very much but lack the means to, i'll watch people play them instead since all i'm going for is story.

Silent Hill: Homecoming, or also known as Silent Hill 5, depicts the story when protagonist Alex Shepherd returns to his home after his service in the military. However things starts to go wrong soon...

Oh yeah, Silent Hill Origins Protagonist Travis Gardy made a cameo appearance too! He's old already though, we can pretty much guess how long has it passed.

Watched all the endings, and i loved the Bogeyman ending most. It's about Alex being captured and made into a Pyramid Head. It's starting to make sense...

There's 3 Pyramid Heads at the end, and i can put a name for each of them.

WARNING! THIS IS MERE SPECULATION AND MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION! DON'T TELL ME CRAP STUFF 'CAUSE YOU DISAGREE WITH IT. I DON'T CARE!

Oh yeah, not to mention spoilers too.

Before i start, let me go through a few things.

Pyramid Heads, first introduced in Silent Hill 2, are supposedly executioners in legend. Meaning to say, they do not exist at all. However, James Sunderland (Protagonist of Silent Hill 2) encountered one and found it to be completely impervious to all attacks during their first few encounters.

Pyramid Heads (Ok, that's it. I'm referring them to PH as of now) are humanoid creatures with abnormal strength and a metallic cover encasing AND enclosing their head, rendering it difficult to recognise them. Often carrying either a giant cleaver or a spear, they are always after the protagonist and haunts them as some kind of police, for their sins. Commonly thought to be evil (Well, since they hunt the heroes...), at another point they can be thought as just and lawful. They attack monsters themselves and to explain their actions for attacking the heroes, their sins. Let's go into that.

PH #1 : Alex Shepherd.

As said by Bogeyman Ending. His sin really is just killing his brother in an accident, but that is enough to push Alex beyond mental breaking point (He loves his brother a lot, but was a bit jealous of him because of their parents) as Alex refuses to face reality and believes that his brother is still alive.

PH #2 : James Sunderland.

James' fate was left a mystery after Silent Hill 2 (I'd like to point out that Silent Hill games have multiple endings and it's not often that one of it is make the official ending, except for Silent Hill since it has a continuation in Silent Hill 3). So we never knew where James is since Silent Hill 2 had tons of endings. The one in question here is the "In Water" ending, where James is said to commit suicide. His sin was mercy killing (With a pillow) his wife to prevent her from suffering from illness. James went back to Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his wife...but if you played the game, you'll notice that the contents of the letter vanished near the end of the game, it was his guilt that brought him back.

PH #3 : Travis Gardy

This is an interesting one, because of the fact that PH did not appear in origins at all. The 'persecutor' in Origins was the butcher. However, as we see in the "Butcher" ending, we see the truth about Travis. I'm not sure what the sin of Travis is, but i know he caused his mother to go crazy and his father to commit suicide.

Oh well that's a lot of information (Or pure gibberish for some).

For those who know what this topic is about.

I'm slowly starting to match the pieces together, and i'm getting something. There're some misunderstandings, but i'm looking to solve them. I blame myself for not trying to even ask. There's a chance for me,so i'm still going for it.

Ok ok, that's a lot. See you next time.

I'm considering putting a tagboard soon, just to hear people whine.

Day 2...but i will be writing about yesterday instead. I set off early in the morning at 8am towards Tokyo station from my hotel. It was a good 20 minutes walk and with decent, cooling weather as well. I found out that opposite my building is a Konami building (although, later in the day when i return i would find that the building houses their Esports studio and school. I managed to get a Welcome Suica card at the Information Cafe of Tokyo station after a good 10 minutes of looking at the directory. The process of getting the card was simple as the staff was able to communicate in English. After i have gotten the pass, i started to look for Shinkansen ticketing machines. Because i was leaving in a short while, all of the reserved seats are already occupied and there was not much of a choice here. The plus of a non-reserved Shinkansen ticket is that you are free to board the non-reserved cabins anytime, as the ticket lasts for 4 days. I arrived at the platform to mad crowding. The...
Holy RA it's already near the end of April of 2025. Since the last post i've made a second booking to Japan, been there and returned. The visit this time was less of a rush but at the same time, i spent more time relaxing (idling) in the hotel. Originally i've planned annual visits in October of each year but i kind of felt like going again. So i made a booking towards the end of January. Unfortunately, the timing is not really good this time as the weather was pretty dark and gloomy throughout the trip. The Sun only showed up at the last 2 days of the trip. --- This time, i've visited Shizuoka again for its sushi. Same store. Same taste. I've also went to Enoshima and had "Enoshima Don", a seafood egg rice. I've mistaken "Yurantei" for the "Uomitei" that i wanted to visit. Nonetheless, the food is good. I'll visit someday again. Also, fulfilled my dream of taking the Sunrise Express, visiting Izumo and the famed Izumo Taisha (...
...with how tired i was in Japan daily, it was easy to leave out writing. For example, i'm already back in Singapore. Following the previous post, i made my way to Ueno Park, Senso-ji in Asakusa, Shikansen down to Shizuoka and visited Sunpu Castle, took a river cruise around Sumidagawa with Tokyo Cruise and ended a full day trip spending money in Akihabara buying old consoles. I'll think about whether i want to go into the details. The last actual day, Friday 18 Oct, was kind of a waste as i was "kicked out" of the hotel early and spent the day in the Airport instead. The storage was full so i couldn't leave my luggage in the airport and go somewhere else. I also can only check it in only 3 hours before the actual flight. It's a good trip overall, even with all the downtime. I am already looking forward to returning next year. I am also going to go for a Business class seat again next year.
