I felt really lazy today, so i skipped school. I don't really know why, perhaps it's because it's a short day and nothing important will happen, so i didn't go. Or perhaps it's because today may be the last day for a decent rest until my national exams. Anyway, i just didn't feel like going today.
I saw the new and revised timetable for our intensive revision. It's actually the opposite of what i thought it would be. Each day are really long and lessons are cramped to up to 4 periods at once. Just imagine sitting in a room listening to the Chinese teacher rant for 2 2/3 hours. That's how bad it is. The dismissal time is also very late, maybe a little early dismissal for some days, but overall it means that the stress that is tormenting us will continue for a while more. I hope that it won't be the similar case for the beginning of next year...just the beginning.
It would seemed that our results are to be quarantined until the end of the promotional exercise. Apparently so because we would have known our status if the results are revealed, we would have calculated by ourselves anyway. So like what my accounting teacher Mr. T said yesterday, "It's a break that doesn't look like a break because you are not sure of your fate." So true.
On another hand, it can help us by letting us concentrate on our H1 National exams that is coming up pretty soon, say less than 2 months. One sad thing for some people is, that when they realise that they cannot make it to the next level, they gave up on everything entirely. Al least observe something, that the results will still be used even if you're retained, so one should try their best. This is especially true for H1 Project Work.
Speaking of which, my revision for Economics is going well. Studying the notes and the study guide, to me, is actually much fruitful than listening in class. It's either that, i'm constantly distracted in class, or i can concentrate better when i'm at home reading.
For Project Work, our direction had some changes, but we also discover a few other possibilities that our task objectives can be developed into, that we can show that we had thoroughly analyse and overcome most of it that can be done. My team members however, are still not very clear about it. Sometimes, i wonder if it's their fault for not listening well enough, or is it my fault for not explaining well enough.
That's it for today.
